EDHEC graduates display all the qualities of rigour, dynamism and adaptability that a company like Ernst & Young needs. The quality of EDHEC's finance programme is wholly in line with the level required and many Edhec alumni may be found in all sectors of activity at Ernst & Young.
Why Ernst & Young also looks for EDHEC interns
"Doing an internship at Ernst & Young is the best way for the company and the student interns to get to know one another in a solid professional relationship that generally lasts 6 to 9 months. The aim is to identify the best profiles from among the interns and to make them an interesting offer when they graduate, at the same time giving them a real chance to show their talent in a highly operational job. At the end of a rigorous selection process, Ernst & Young is delighted to offer EDHEC students a number of internship opportunities every year."

The CIC branch office located in London has been recruiting EDHEC interns since the year 2000 for periods of 3 to 4 months. The interns join the Corporate Banking department, which is part of the Business Development Unit, to help the group's clients to develop their business activities in the UK. Missions are mainly in the field of market analyses and validations, finding partners for trading purposes or joint enterprise operations, and helping them to set up businesses in the UK. Other assignments include targeted research on business acquisition and transfer activities. Our students quickly integrate the Corporate department teams, displaying all the qualities needed to successfully complete their assignments: good thinking and analytical skills, autonomy, thoroughly researched presentations and reports, and a good sense of humour. Successful applicants benefit from a highly rewarding professional experience at the heart of a leading banking group in Europe's financial capital, while enjoying the attractions of this dynamic and vibrant city.
The Société Générale Group is one of the main employers of EDHEC alumni. Every year, we recruit a number of young graduates for jobs, internships and, more recently, apprenticeship programmes. The reason we recruit or pre-recruit EDHEC students is because we are sure that they have a good level to start with as well as the potential to evolve. EDHEC is one of our key target schools in terms of pre-recruitment for final year interns. Students who perform particularly well during their internship are very likely to be offered a permanent job whenever an opportunity arises. Which areas are we most likely to recruit in? There is such a range of possibilities that it's difficult to give a short answer to this question. However, we have Edhec alumni working as project managers, inspectors, in sales, internal audit, fund management, HR and communications, to name but a few."
