CORONAVIRUS - COVID-19: FAQ

 

Since the beginning of the health crisis, EDHEC has been following the recommendations of the health and government authorities. In order to protect everyone's health and help slow down the development of the crisis, and in line with President Macron's speech, EDHEC has decided to suspend all courses and student activities on the Lille, Nice and Paris campuses as of Monday 16 March and closed its campuses as of Tuesday 17 March. All services are provided remotely.

 

 

As of Tuesday 17 March, students are no longer admitted on campus. Beginning on March 25th, and until the end of the semester, all classes, evaluations and exams will be delivered remotely.
The libraries are now closed, although their online resources remain available for use. The catering and sports facilities are closed to everyone. External visitors will no longer have access to our campuses.

 

 

Since Tuesday, March 17 students, external visitors and staff are no longer admitted to campuses. Our services continue to be provided online. Our administrative staff and teachers are fully mobilized in this exceptional situation to ensure that, despite the current global situation, each of you will have the opportunity to validate your academic year 2019-2020 and, thereby, be in a position at the end of your degree programme to satisfy the degree conditions, in accordance with our academic requirements.

 

As of Monday, March 16th, no in-person pedagogical activity will take place for the rest of the semester. Beginning on March 25th, and until the end of the semester, all classes, evaluations and exams will be delivered remotely. The closure of our campuses is exceptional and temporary. EDHEC will follow the recommendations of the government authorities regarding the date of reopening, in order to protect everyone's health.

Precautionary instructions and academic information are regularly communicated to all EDHEC students via the MyEDHEC portal, our website and e-mail. Programme management also plays a key role in applying instructions and maintaining a constant link between students and management. A dedicated e-mail address (covid@edhec.edu) allows students and their families to contact us.

 

 

All extra-curricular and student association activities and events on campus are now suspended. All student events, on and off-campus, will be suspended for the duration of the closure.

 

 

The decision to keep your flat is personal, you can keep it if you wish. Please contact your usual contact at SERGIC or your private landlord for any question related to your lease.

In addition, all your information and documents remain accessible on MyEDHEC.

 

 

For any administrative procedure (renewal of VISA or passport for example), we advise you to contact the usual French authorities.
The International Student Office (ISO) can also advise you. The address covid@edhec.edu is at your disposal for any questions.
 

 

 

Before any travel decision, we strongly advise you to contact the French authorities or the relevant authorities of the host country (consulate or ministry of foreign affairs for example).
France and the European area, like other countries in the world, have been subject to a restriction of personal movement and closed all external borders. For further information, you can consult the Foreign Affairs website.

 

The International Student Office remains available during the closing period. You can contact your usual contacts for all your administrative requests during the closing period

Sports facilities are not accessible during the closure period.

You will find, as usual, your course and exam schedules on MyEDHEC.

 

The terms of the entrance exams, written tests or motivational interviews, will be adapted according to the evolution of the health situation and the recommendations of the government authorities.
You will find all the necessary information, updated regularly, on our website.

 

A laptop and an internet connection are enough. A webcam might be required if classes are organised on a live basis. If you are having difficulty following online classes, you must inform your programme manager or usual contact as soon as possible or send an email to covid@edhec.edu.
