The independent principality of Monaco is world falous. It is the second smallest country in the world (2.02 sq km) behind the Vatican and is interrelated to France.

Monaco is also a wealthy country, with a GNP of US$ 7.240 billions (US$ 222,022 per capita) mainly provided by services, trade and banks and is the second most expensive city after London for real estate. Some of the famous events that take place are the F1 championship, the International Circus Festival and the Monte Carlo Tennis Masters.



More than 55 major annual events take place in the heart and soul of Cannes each year in its “Palais des Festivals et des Congrès”, attracting over 300,000 visitors and generating 768 million € in economic revenues and 12,000 jobs.

Sophia Antipolis is a technology park located in the Côte d’Azur. Universities and 1,400 companies are located here, with nearly 5,000 students and researchers and 30,000 employees focused on advanced scientific research in information technology and communication (ICT), multimedia, life sciences energy, water management, risks and sustainable development.

From Airport Terminal 1: Take the 23 bus on Promenade des Anglais 
From Airport Terminal 2: Take the free shuttle bus towards Terminal 2 and take the 23 bus on Promenade des Anglais. 
Shuttle bus hours: From 4.30 AM to 00:30, every 10 mins
  • By train (regional train)

Note that it is quite difficult to park close to EDHEC

Coming the first day at school :

  • Bus:

1,50€ ticket, to be paid in coins, from the bus driver. Validate your ticket using the machine on the bus. 

  • Tram:

1,50€ ticket at the station, paid for either in coins or by card. Validate your ticket. The tram does not go all the way from EDHEC to the city centre yet so you may have to change and take the bus. 

  • One-way tickets 

1,50€ tickets on the bus and tram are one-way only, but valid for 74 minutes so if you need to take the bus, then the tram straight after, validate the same ticket. You must validate your ticket every time, otherwise you could earn a fine!
