Newsletter april 2021

March 2021, year one of our “Impact future generations 2025” strategic plan, which was launched on the eve of the first lockdown in France.

While responding to the different health constraints, deploying high-quality teaching adapted to the circumstances and supporting our students as best as possible during this unprecedented year, EDHEC launched a number of ambitious projects.

Several major initiatives provided for in the strategic plan were confirmed. These notably concern the hybridisation of knowledge, via the development of new partnerships geared to training students for the issues raised by the major transformations in our society. By way of example, EDHEC has just signed a strategic partnership with EURECOM, an international engineering school founded by Institut Mines-Telecom and a cutting-edge research centre in digital sciences. The two schools were keen to extend their collaboration via EDHEC’s entry into the EURECOM consortium, EDHEC being the only business school member. Another illustration is the launch of the new double degree in Climate Change & Sustainable Finance offered by EDHEC & MINES ParisTech in September 2021. This new joint programme will train a new generation of finance professionals, capable of combining financial expertise with a good understanding of the scientific and technical challenges linked to the transition to a low-carbon economy.

We are clearly not stopping there and new ambitious projects will shortly see the light of day. We will be certain to share them with you when the time comes. EDHEC is more engaged than ever in serving future generations.

We thank you for your confidence. You can rest assured of our commitment at your side, at the side of our students and their families.

Dean, EDHEC Business School
