About the role
EDHEC Business School is looking for an Events Coordinator (fixed-term contract – CDD), based in Nice, to support the International Corporate Relations team. Focusing exclusively on the planning and delivery of events, you will work closely with the Career Services team and internal stakeholders to ensure a professional end-to-end event experience for companies, partners and students.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver events (employer branding, recruitment, networking) such as Finance Career Days and the Company Treks.
- Coordinate logistics end-to-end: timelines, venues/rooms, registrations, catering, suppliers, on-site set-up, signage and run-of-show.
- Manage event communications (invitations, confirmations, reminders, practical information) in coordination with relevant teams.
- Update and maintain participant and company data related to events (mailing lists, attendance tracking, post-event follow-ups) in the CRM/database.
- Work closely with internal departments to align priorities and operational needs.
Profile
- Education & experience: A degree in Business, Events, Marketing, or a related field; previous experience in events is an advantage.
- Languages: Fluent English is a must; professional working proficiency in French is required.
- Tools: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
- Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels; high standards of professionalism in both internal and external interactions.
- Personal attributes: Proactive; able to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team; quick learner with a hands-on approach; strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and high-quality delivery.
