About the role
EDHEC Business School is seeking an International Corporate Relations & Events Officer. Reporting to the International Corporate Relations (ICR) Manager within the Careers & Employer Engagement (C&EE) Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for organising recruitment and networking events, managing key partners and international employers, ensuring active and engaged relationships with companies, and developing relations with new accounts in specific regions/countries in order to a) secure the placement of students in internships and jobs abroad and b) contribute to the international reputation and brand awareness of the School.
Main Responsibilities
Corporate Relations, Key Account Management & Business Development
- Develop and manage long-term relationships with international employers and strategic partners across targeted countries/regions.
- Identify new partnership opportunities through market mapping, outreach, and prospecting campaigns aligned with placement priorities.
- Conduct market research to monitor recruitment trends and employer needs in target geographies; translate insights into actionable initiatives.
- Coordinate employer engagement actions with EDHEC Country Managers and the France-based Employer Engagement team to ensure consistency and impact.
- Contribute to EDHEC’s international visibility by supporting employer-facing marketing initiatives in key markets.
- Provide regular updates and reporting on employer engagement activity, pipeline development, and outcomes.
Events
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver recruitment and networking events (e.g., Finance Career Days, London treks, networking sessions, company presentations, etc.).
- Represent ICR/C&EE and EDHEC at external events when required, ensuring professional and consistent positioning.
Placements & Partnerships
- Work closely with the Career Services team to align employer requirements with student profiles and career goals, supporting placement abroad.
- Produce and maintain employer-facing materials (pitch decks, statistics, CV books, and other placement tools) to enhance student visibility and match quality.
- Ensure accurate tracking of employer contacts, interactions and opportunities through effective database/CRM management.
- Support additional projects and operational needs as requested by the ICR Manager and the C&EE Department.
Profile
Education & experience
- A degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a comparable role within an international environment; experience in higher education is an advantage.
Languages
- Fluent English is a MUST.
- Professional working proficiency in French is required.
Tools
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with CRM Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
