EDHEC Business School is recruiting a Research Engineer (M/F). This is a full-time permanent position based on the Nice Campus.
EDHEC AI Centre
EDHEC has launched its EDHEC Generations 2050 Strategic Plan, positioning Artificial Intelligence as a key strategic priority. In this context, the EDHEC AI Centre is recruiting an AI Research Engineer / Data Scientist to support applied research and innovation at the intersection of AI, data science, education, and business. You will work closely with faculty members, researchers, and academic and industry partners, including within the Responsible AI Consortium, of which EDHEC is a founding member.
Main Responsibilities
You will combine research, hands-on AI development, and experimentation to explore and prototype AI driven solutions with real academic, educational, or industry impact.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research related to AI and its impact on education, professions, and organizations.
• Design, develop, and test AI solutions and intelligent agents, contributing to their evaluation and deployment.
• Participate in collaborative research and innovation projects with academic and industry partners.
• Perform horizon scanning / strategic foresight on emerging AI technologies, academic research, and policy/regulatory trends relevant to education and business.
• Contribute to research outputs, briefings, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Profile
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field (PhD is a plus).
• Initial experience in data analytics, applied AI, or AI-driven research projects.
• Strong programming and data analysis skills.
• Professional fluency in English and French.
• Interest in working in a research-oriented, international environment.
