Context:
EDHEC has recently launched its EDHEC Generations 2050 Strategic Plan, with Artificial Intelligence as a key strategic priority.
The EDHEC AI Center is currently being established to contribute to this plan with three main missions:
- To become a leader in integrating AI within business education.
- To advance research on the transformative effects of AI on professions and society.
- To actively promote and contribute to the development of cutting-edge expertise and thought leadership in Responsible AI.
Role:
As one of the AI Center's first hires, you will help shape its foundation and co-construct projects in line with the Center’s growth and missions. The role is ideal if you are eager to drive innovative, cross-disciplinary initiatives at the intersection of AI, education and industry. You will report directly to the Associate Dean of the AI Center and work closely with faculty, researchers, and national and international partners to bring cutting-edge ideas into practice and to position EDHEC as a global leader in responsible AI in business education.
You will actively participate in the evolution of academic programs and AI enhanced delivery as well as the structuring, monitoring and participation in research projects on AI’s impact on education and future of work.
EDHEC is a founding member of the Responsible AI Consortium, and you will be actively involved in the Consortium’s activities and projects related to teaching, learning, and research.
To render the types of projects more concrete, one project will involve research based on the use of avatars in courses across MBA programs of several institutions. You will be involved in working with colleagues at partner institutions to identify courses and professors with whom to test the avatar, experimenting the avatar, following up on the collection of data, planning of meetings with appropriate stakeholders, and general project management related to the study.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive the execution of projects aligned with the AI Center’s strategic plan.
- Translate Center’s strategic goals into actionable project plans with clear deliverables and timelines and promote a project-oriented culture in the Center.
- Coordinate multi-stakeholder initiatives across academic, research and operational teams.
- Represent the AI Center in cross-institutional projects and consortiums.
- Cultivate and manage internal and external partner and stakeholder engagement.
- Support the development and rollout of AI-enhanced curriculum components in partnership with faculty and the Pedagogical Innovation Lab.
- Coordinate logistics, communications and documentation for events, workshops and conferences that the Center organizes or in which it participates.
- Mentor and supervise interns or junior team members as the Center expands.
Profile :
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, planning and execution.
- Mastery of project management methodologies and tools, data analysis skills
- Master's degree or equivalent (Bac+5).
- Fluent written and spoken English and French.
- Knowledge of and curiosity about artificial intelligence.
- Familiarity with the higher education environment is a plus.
- Proactive with desire to co-construct the AI Center
