Elie Salameh, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Head of Accounting, Control & Law Department at EDHEC Business School. He teaches courses in managerial accounting, financial accounting, and financial statements analysis. He is engaged in business case writing and research on financial reporting quality and earnings management. Prior to joining EDHEC, Elie Salameh was the Vice Dean of the Higher Institute of Business Administration in Damascus (Syria) and a visiting scholar at London Business School. He has also worked on several international projects funded by the European Union, the United Nations Development Program, and Japan’s International Cooperation Agency. Elie Salameh holds a PhD in Financial Accounting from the University of Bordeaux and an MS in Business Administration (Diplôme Grande Ecole) from ESSEC Business School.
