Label Citizen Association
A unique initiative developed by EDHEC to recognise and support student associations committed to Corporate Social Responsibility.

A structured process for student associations
The Citizen Association label is inspired by the principles of the international standard ISO 26 000, adapting them to the realities and dynamics of the student association world.
It is based on a structured and accessible framework, designed to guide student associations step by step through their social responsibility process.
Empowering people to become agents of positive change
To structure and promote student involvement in associations working on CSR
As part of the ‘Générations 2050’ strategic plan, the Citizen Association label fully embodies the School’s commitment to educating for change. Its aim is to encourage and support student associations in their transition towards greater civic engagement.
Designed as a catalyst for both individual and collective development, this label reflects EDHEC’s commitment to establishing itself as a benchmark for civic engagement amongst younger generations.
The 5 pillars of corporate responsibility
This framework is structured around five main thematic areas, which constitute the basis for the assessment, progression and recognition of certified associations.

Enhanced citizen skills
This scheme enables students to develop key cross-disciplinary skills (cooperation, responsibility, innovation, ethical leadership) that can be applied in both their professional and personal lives. By joining the scheme, each association becomes an agent of change, actively contributing to a more responsible, inclusive and sustainable society.
To highlight this progress and recognise the associations’ practical commitment, the scheme is based on a system of three certification levels, awarded following an audit carried out by a committee of experts.
