Majid Eskandarpour holds a PhD in Operations Research from IMT Atlantique. His research focuses on sustainable supply chain management, logistics and transportation, production planning, healthcare, urban logistics, and offshore applications, applying advanced optimization methods such as integer and linear programming, decomposition, simulation optimization, and metaheuristics. His work has appeared in leading journals including the European Journal of Operational Research, the International Journal of Production Economics, the International Journal of Production Research, and Omega. Before joining EDHEC in 2025, he was Assistant and then Associate Professor at IÉSEG School of Management and a Research Fellow at the University of Portsmouth, following several years of industrial experience in production planning, project control, and industrial coordination.
