Rowan Hoogervorst holds a PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Before joining EDHEC, he was a postdoc at the Technical University of Denmark. In his research, he focuses on the development of advanced decision-making methods for supporting decision makers in the fields of transportation and health care. A particular focus in his work has been on how to make public transportation systems more efficient and as attractive as possible to passengers. His work has appeared in leading academic journals in the field, such as Transportation Science, Computers & Operations Research, and Information Sciences. At EDHEC, Rowan is teaching Operations Management as well as courses in Data Science and Programming.
