EDHEC Business School President Bruno de Pampelonne underlined EDHEC long history of innovation.
During the France-Singapore Year of Innovation 2018, France and Singapore will intensify exchanges and collaborations between relevant stakeholders in the domain of innovation.
The line-up of events in Singapore and France during the course of the year will serve to encourage further reflection on how both countries could work together to mutually reinforce each other’s efforts to attain their innovation goals. Events will include The Viva Technology Fair in Paris (next week) and the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) held annually in September.
Year Of Innovation 2018 aims to achieve three objectives: (1) deepen collaboration between the French and Singaporean innovation ecosystems by enlarging the pool of stakeholders; (2) foster events and activities held in France and Singapore that could mutually reinforce efforts to attain innovation goals, while focusing on priority sectors where there are substantial opportunities for synergy and partnerships; (3) lay the groundwork for greater bilateral cooperation in innovation beyond the Year of Innovation.
France and Singapore have identified priority sectors in which to showcase innovation, highlight bilateral initiatives and collaboration. The priority sectors include Smart and Sustainable Cities, Fintech, Health, Aging and Biotechnologies, Aerospace and Advanced manufacturing, Start-ups and Emerging Technologies, Education and Lifelong Learning.
