Combating economic and social barriers to access in top-tier schools, the ambition of the new Impact Scholarship program.

Access to higher education remains a major challenge for many students from modest backgrounds. The high cost of education and social and cultural barriers can discourage these young individuals from pursuing their academic path. However, higher education is a key driver of social mobility and professional advancement.

That's why EDHEC launched the EDHEC for All scholarship program over 15 years ago, aiming to help these students integrate into the school. This initiative has enabled thousands of students to take the leap and fulfill their dream of studying in a top business school. By funding annual scholarships averaging €4,000 per student, EDHEC has contributed to opening the doors of the school to talented but financially constrained students.

In September 2022, our school went even further by launching a new impact scholarship fund to finance 50% to 75% of tuition fees for 30 scholarship recipients in income brackets 5, 6, and 7, as determined by CROUS, the most robust criteria. This fund is made possible thanks to the support of over 20 major donors, demonstrating the EDHEC community's commitment to equal opportunities.

The EDHEC Foundation also aims to strengthen this scholarship fund through partnerships with high schools and preparatory classes to identify and support the most deserving students. It will offer significant mentoring projects to allow scholarship recipients to broaden their horizons and benefit from personalized support.

By encouraging the most talented students, regardless of their socio-economic background, EDHEC is contributing to building a fairer and more equitable society. The success of this fund relies on the continued commitment of the EDHEC community and its support for the education of future leaders.

"I am proud to have been studying at EDHEC for the past four years thanks to the attainment of an impact scholarship. I want to thank all the donors because you are helping many students facing financial difficulties who aspire to study under the best conditions. I hope to be able to help future EDHEC students in turn, to give anyone who dreams of studying at EDHEC the resources to do so."
