Brand new e-learning course on coding for MSc in Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence at EDHEC
Starting in January 2020, the MSc in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence students enjoy a new online course. Throughout the term, they learn to develop an application through an incremental approach. They learn HTML, CSS, Ruby, UX, and IU-oriented designs, wireframing, strapping, Application Programming Interface (API), data use and analysis with Python and resolve use-cases at the end of each module. They will build an interactive mock-up for a web or mobile application applying U & UI Design, test their prototype by running user tests, design and code a responsive website for their start-up project, put it online and learn to integrate 3rd-party services (payment, user form, geolocation...), build smart programming scripts and automate tasks using code, APIs and web-scraping.
Training a new hybrid generation for business
“I chose the Online Track mainly for its flexibility. I can study whenever I want. Each module of the online course equips us with professional skills. We go through all the necessary steps to build a website or an app, says Jules Guillot, MSc in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence student. The course gives us 360° view on web or app development. We also use Python for data analysis. Since I started this module, I have seen the difference when I talk to companies: the double competency in business and data analysis makes me stand out. I’m really proud to have joined the MSc in Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence (DAAI) because we are taught by top-notch academics and professional lecturers.” This training is in line with our partnership with Le Wagon and complements the "Full Stack Web" classroom training offered since the creation of the MSc DAAI in Sept. 2017. “We are very pleased to offer students of the MSc DAAI the opportunity to follow the Le Wagon Online training. This new training includes four modules Web Dev, UX/UI, API programming and "Python for Data Analytics", says Florian Pelgrin, the Programme Director. It contributes to the excellence of our students and to the training of a new hybrid generation (for Business) that combines engineering and managerial/business skills.”
