At a crossroads between Entrepreneurship and Finance, the new world of FINTECH is the new thing!
As economical actors, FINTECH shake the banking and finance sectors by offering new services (online banking, crowd funding etc.). Willing to give a full scope on a market with a high recruiting potential, EDHEC Business School organised October 19th on its Nice campus, the "EDHEC FINTECH 2016" event showcasing a lecture by professor Lionel Martellini on "the rise of robo-advisors" & several round tables with contributions from tens of FINTECHS such as PRIVATAM, BOLDEN, EASYTRANSAC, KORIS, MIPISE etc.
"The rise of the industrial revolution relies on the capacity of the wealth management industry to provide customised investment solutions to meet their clients requirements," says Lionel Martellini, Finance teacher at EDHEC Business School and Director of EDHEC Risk-Institute.
The partnership between EDHEC Business School and Les Echos Start impacts the professional project of the students while promoting meetings with innovative economical players enticing French and international FINTECH to the Nice Côte d'Azur area.
This event emphasised the willingness of EDHEC Business School to give the future managers the tools to apprehend the changing world of finance. " EDHEC students are trained as future finance professionals, likely to improve and simultaneously use their financial and technological expertise to develop innovative financial products and services. Through this session, our students gained a better understanding of the trends driving the world of FINTECH, insuring optimal positioning as future collaborators, competitors and users of this ecosystem." Jérôme Troiano, manager Career Centre Financial Economics Track at EDHEC Business school.
