Women in business leadership

EDHEC Business School joins an impressive alliance of more than 200 top companies and schools dedicated to advancing women in business through access to education, professional development, and a community of successful women. From Forté leadership conferences to career-advancing programmes for women at all career stages, the partnership with Forté will offer more women the opportunity to build skills for today’s workplace, expand their networks, and earn essential promotions.

On the new prestigious partnership, Stephane Canonne, Associate Dean for Executive Education & MBAs explained “At EDHEC, we firmly believe in the transformative power of diversity and inclusion. By partnering with the Forté Foundation, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering gender balance in business education and empowering women to excel in leadership roles. This new partnership will give our MBA students even greater support and access to the Forté Foundation’s resources and network and will enable us to encourage more talented women to join MBA programmes via the new Forte Fellowship awards which we are delighted to introduce this year.”

As part of the partnership, EDHEC is now proud to offer a range of Forte Fellowship awards for exceptional women MBA candidates. These awards will give high-achieving female applicants access to financial support and education and career resources. Since 2001, Forté has advocated for parity between men and women in the workplace, and for increasing opportunities for women in business leadership. Forte does this by connecting talented women in business with education and advancement opportunities offered by the organisation’s partners, including business schools, corporations, and non-profits.

“Our partnership with EDHEC continues to educate our community that the business case for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) is stronger than ever,” said Elissa Sangster, CEO of Forté. “It’s an honor to work with EDHEC and connect them with our diverse network of experienced professional women.”
