EDHEC Business School partners with VIVATECH 2018, the world’s rendezvous for startups and leaders to celebrate innovation
Viva Technology is one of a kind, an exhibition of the most innovative products and services, proposing unique networking opportunities for startups with large corporations and investors. This year, the event welcomes more than 80,000 attendees from around the world, including 8,000 startups, 1,400 investors and 150 conferences.
As a prominent high education actor for the society of the future and as a partner for this event, EDHEC Business School invited 500 students to this hub for the world’s innovators, tech-lovers and pioneers.
Among inspiring talks, EDHEC Business School is also present through Alumni who share their success stories. This year, place to women: Sophie BELLON, Chairwoman of Sodexo’s Board of Directors and EDHEC of the year in 2016; Annabel CHAUSSAT, e-commerce Marketing Director at FNAC & Darty and EDHEC 1997, and Samantha JERUSALMY, EDHEC 2008 co-director of StartHer, an organization that aims at promoting entrepreneurship by women.
VivaTechology was created in the context of a deep commitment from the City of Paris to foster innovation. The City of Paris has invested over one billion euros between 2008 and 2014 to create 100.000m2 of business incubator space. Among them, the Station F hosts a vast startup campus in which EDHEC incubator supports EDHEC startups with additional work stations housed in Station F.
