“EDHEC has had a positive impact in my career both thanks to its reputation and network.”
Cher Croizer, now Senior Advisor in the Management Consulting Practice at KPMG Luxembourg shares her journey at EDHEC.
WHAT WAS YOUR EDUCATION BEFORE COMING TO EDHEC?
I am Franco-Brazilian. Born in Brazil and raised in both countries. My parents traveled frequently. So I attended different French schools across Latin America and Europe. When the time came to decide where I would pursue my higher education I settled for France.
WHY HAD YOU CHOSEN EDHEC AND THIS PARTICULAR MSC?
EDHEC is a renowned business school both in Lille and France with an international reach, a strong faculty, and a powerful network which made it a clear choice for me. At the end of my EDHEC BBA, I wanted to pursue in the Business Management field. The MSc in Strategy and Organisation Consultancy was the best fit for me because of the diversity of topics covered, allowing me to choose different paths after that and because of its practical orientation ensuring that students can start a career being operational.
HOW HAS YOUR EDHEC EDUCATION HELPED YOU IN YOUR CAREER?
EDHEC has had a positive impact in my career both thanks to its reputation and network. Those are two main strengths of EDHEC whose Alumni can carry through their careers and leverage on when looking for opportunities.
WHAT WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT TAKEAWAY FROM THE PROGRAMME?
In hindsight, the most important takeaway of the programme was undoubtedly the contact and different exchange opportunities with practitioners/consultants to better understand their work – coupled with the different “immersions” provided by the programme meaning practical courses (ie. Cracking business cases) and activities (ie. Capgemini Invent business case).
HAS YOUR EDUCATION AT EDHEC MADE A TANGIBLE DIFFERENCE IN YOUR CAREER?
EDHEC definitely provided me with a good basis to be operational when starting my career, it being in statistics or in consulting further down the road.
DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR FUTURE STUDENTS?
To take advantage of the unique premises and location of EDHEC Lille to network, travel, and get involved in as many academic and associative activities as they can.
