EDHEC Business School has climbed three places to take top spot in the seventh edition of the Financial Times Pre-experience Masters in Finance 2017 rankings.

The rankings consider a range of factors when comparing schools, from average salaries three years after graduation to course value and the percentage of recent graduates finding employment.

French schools have impressed in this year’s ranking with HEC Paris in second, and ESSEC Business School, ESCP Europe and SKEMA Business School in third, fourth and sixth respectively.

Warwick Business School – the highest-ranked UK school jumped an impressive seven places into ninth this year.

The school’s success is a reflection of the high salary percentage increase enjoyed by their graduates, being the third highest overall at 104%. Warwick also placed fourth overall in terms of graduate career progress.
