"I chose EDHEC because the curriculum offered was more interesting than at any other business school. The programme covers the entire financial spectrum and, when I enrolled, it was the only school offering a course on ‘smart betas’ (Factor Investing) which is currently a key topic in the asset management industry. Even though the Grande École programme takes 3 years, it enables students to gain one year of work experience between the first and final year of studies. It is the perfect balance between practical experience and academic theory. My time at EDHEC brought me closer to the work place: in comparison to the very theoretical Italian system, EDHEC professors actually work in finance, we are in constant contact with the industry thanks to the Career Centre and this provided me with an immediate connection to the industry.”
