Innovation Management in Family Business
June 28, 2024 - from 9 am to 7 pm.
3rd Edition of the Financial Forum for Family Business CFOs, organised by the EDHEC Family Business Chair, in partnership with Poclain
Venue : Poclain SAS Route de Compiègne 60410 Verberie
Presentation
Family businesses, with their unique heritage and dynamics, stand at the crossroads between tradition and transformation. While they often possess assets such as trusted relationships, a long-term vision and a commitment based on strong values, they also face particular challenges, especially when it comes to navigating change and innovation.
It's against this backdrop that our Financial Forum aims to explore, dissect and celebrate the intersection of innovation and family heritage. Throughout our program, we aim to explore a range of topics, from harnessing technology and digital transformation to fostering a culture of creativity and adaptability within family businesses.
Audience
The program alternates lectures with academics and experts in the field, a company visit dedicated to highlighting innovation management at family-owned Poclain, round tables with CFOs and innovation managers, and interactive discussions to share best practices and discover innovative strategies that promote performance and sustainable growth.
Aimed primarily at CFOs from family businesses, the Forum is a unique opportunity to network and forge meaningful links with CFOs who share similar experiences, aspirations and challenges. The Forum is thus a platform for the synergy of ideas, combined with a diversity of perspectives, and promises to enrich our collective understanding and inspire concrete solutions.
Innovation is not just a buzzword; it is the lifeblood of progress and survival in today's competitive landscape. As custodians of financial management, your presence and participation are essential to the success of the Forum.
How to get there
The event will be held at Poclain, which is conveniently located 1hour north of Paris, or 1.5 hour South of Lille. The exact address is Route de Compiègne, 60410 Verberie.
For those interested in car pooling and going together, we can help organizing transportation.
If you prefer going by yourself: From Paris, you have the possibility of reaching Compiègne (which is 20 minutes from POCLAIN) by train. From Paris, you will have to leave from “Gare du Nord”. There are quite a few trains during the day. If you opt for this choice, we will organize a transfer with our taxi from the station to Poclain's site in VERBERIE. And from CDG airport, we can organize transfers with Poclain's taxi service.
How can you take part?
This event is free for first-time participants. From the second time onwards, annual membership is required (club principle). The membership fee is 2000 Euros and entitles you to attend two events per year.
