Bio
Kristen du Bois is an Assistant Professor of Human Resources in the Management and Humanities department at EDHEC Business School, where she teaches courses on managing human capital. Her research, informed by a practical background in HR, explores how workplace policies shape employee well-being and retention. She earned her PhD in Business Economics and Psychology from Ghent University, collaborating with organizations such as IKEA and using innovative vignette experiments to study workplace dynamics. Her work has appeared in academic journals including Human Resource Management and BMC Public Health. During her PhD, she was a visiting scholar at IESE Business School and co-authored a bestselling book on careers, reflecting her commitment to making academic insights accessible to practitioners and the public.
