Bio
Riccardo Valboni holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Before joining EDHEC, he was an Assistant Professor at Utrecht University School of Economics and held research and teaching positions at Rotterdam School of Management and Bocconi University. His research primarily focuses on the strategic decisions of multinational corporations, examining the performance drivers of cross-border acquisitions and tax-motivated headquarters relocations. He also studies the role of cultural familiarity in international business. He has won multiple Best Paper Awards at the European International Business Academy (EIBA) Conference and has been nominated for an AIB Best Paper Award. His work has been published in the Journal of Management Studies.
