Mirco Rubin Director of the PhD in Finance programme

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mirco Rubin as Director of the EDHEC PhD in Finance programme.

A longstanding member of the EDHEC community, Mirco Rubin brings to this role a combination of academic excellence, intellectual rigour and a deep commitment to his students. His appointment reflects not only his strong research profile, but also his sustained contribution to the programme over the years.

Mirco's research addresses some of the most pressing questions in contemporary finance. His recent paper, "Green Window Dressing" (with G. Parise), published in the Journal of Finance in 2025, highlights both the relevance of his work and his standing within the academic community.

As Director, he will continue to uphold the programme's core values: fostering rigorous, curiosity-driven research with clear academic and industry relevance. His leadership marks a continuation of EDHEC's commitment to developing the next generation of independent thinkers capable of contributing to international academic and professional debates.

This appointment confirms what has always defined the EDHEC PhD in Finance: the conviction that academic rigour and human ambition, when brought together, produce something exceptional.
