13 teams of EDHEC Global MBA Student-Consultants begin their 8-week strategic missions with this year?s winners of the Global MBA Consulting Project Pitches: Google, L'Oreal, Bic, Amadeus, Air Liquide, Schneider Electric, Allergan, Pearson, Edmiston Yachting, Emedinovo and Abbaye de Lerins.

Consulting projects are the most popular choice for EDHEC Global MBA students in their final project. Through these high-level missions, the participants gain exposure to challenging real-world business projects and round off their theoretical training with some true hands-on experience. Alternatives in this final project choice are to perform an internship, work on an entrepreneurial project or do a research project.
This year 48 students are involved in consulting projects, a record number of participants for an excellent selection of corporate projects ranging from blue chip multi-nationals through to local startups and in sectors from engineering to tourism, healthcare to publishing and telecoms to high-tech.
To prepare for their Consulting Projects, students first attend a seminar with experienced professional, Marc Kitten of the consulting company Candesic, a boutique strategy consulting firm based in London. Marc shares useful frameworks and problem-solving approaches based on his many years of experience at McKinsey and Candesic. His practical advice and stories from day to day work in consulting prepare students for the challenges which lie ahead.
The projects cover a wide range of topics from strategic business plans, global market studies and employer branding to product development, Big Data and CRM optimization. Geographically the students from some 35 countries will manage projects which span Africa, Europe, Asia and North America.
The student teams will work closely with key stakeholders in the business and in their sponsoring firms, providing a fresh and international look at business processes and strategic plans with a final presentation to issue recommendations and action plans. They will also have the opportunity to work with an EDHEC professor who supervises the project.
The sponsor firms are looking forward receiving fresh ideas, hard work and strategic recommendations
