Why did you decide to join the Global Business track?
I had grown up abroad my whole life, I spent the first few years of my life living in the United States and then I moved to Singapore with my parents so for my higher education I really wanted to choose a program that was also International because it really matched my spirit and that's why I decided to pursue with the Global Business track. I was also really passionate about different sorts of subjects, and I knew that pursuing at EDHEC Business School - and more particularly, into this program - would allow me to have a generalist approach and be able to learn different topics, whether it’d be Law or Finance.

What is the strenght of the EDHEC International BBA?
I think this is an amazing program because there are so many different classes that you can really figure out what you like to do and what you don’t. Then, you can specialize yourself with electives, as well as internships. I've done a four-month internship in Paris and two six-month internships in Singapore which really allowed me to have professional experience before heading out into the working world.

What was the highlights of your studies?
I think one of the best moments from this program was coming back just after my second year at UCLA and meeting up with my classmates, seeing how they changed, how they grew up and how they matured from their internships. Also, learning from each other from the different skills we’ve acquired during our professional experience and having that same feeling again during our last year at NTU, in Singapore. Something else that I really enjoyed during this program was, that when I did my last internship, I got amazing feedback from my team on a project that I worked on and that I was able to contribute to. A few weeks ago, some of my team members reached out to me, and they told me that the solution I provided for them is still being used today and that clients are very happy ; so it really warmed up my heart to hear something from professionals and it really shows that EDHEC Business School gives us the necessary toolkit to make an impact within companies and within teams.

Why did you decide to pursue your studies in Finance?
During my bachelor's at EDHEC Business School I really developed a passion for finance, and I decided that I wanted to pursue with that for my Master’s degree and I wanted to go back to EDHEC Business School for my Master's in International Finance because EDHEC is a school that is known for finance, and I knew the professors had an amazing reputation that’s why I wanted to pursue my studies at EDHEC.

Do you have an advice for future students?
For those who want to join this programme or are already part of it, I think that you need to stay curious, explore everything that's out there, meet new people and of course be ambitious, don't rest on your laurels, always strive to be better and to be the best!
