The MBA in Nice :  The 80 EDHEC Global MBA students (10-month full time programme) were welcomed this week by their new Italian-American Programme Director, Michelle Sisto, PhD.
After obtaining her PhD in Finance from EDHEC Business School, Michelle taught in the EDHEC MBA programme for several years with a focus on data analysis and programming.
The 2016 Global MBA intake boasts 30 different nationalities, with students joining us from Costa Rica, China, South Africa and South Korea, among others. The average age is 31 and the students have an average of 7.5 years professional experience with such big name firms as Adidas, BVLGARI, Deloitte, P&G, TATA, Nestlé, SONY and Schneider. The intake also includes a number of entrepreneurs who have joined the programme to upgrade their business management skills in the entrepreneurship track.
Following the first induction days on the Nice Campus, all of the students will go on a 2 day excursion to the mountains in the magnificent Mercantour park.

EMBA in Paris and Lille...
With the arrival of 36 new students in September (22% from aborad and 34% of women), the new EDHEC EMBA intake forms a multi-faceted community of 70 business leaders, from very different backgrounds.
The two groups in Lille and Paris were welcomed by Benoit Arnaud, EDHEC Executive Education Director. They then met Denis Dauchy, Director of the EMBA in Lille and Philippe Foulquier, Director of the EMBA in Paris.

To build up trust and understanding between the students and to get to know one another better, the first week was devoted to personal development and leadership.
The students enjoyed group coaching sessions and interpersonal communication and resilience workshops led by experts. The week offered a good illustration of the professional and personal transformation dimension that is a central feature of the programme which is designed to foster self-awareness and understanding of managerial and behavioural skills linked to emotional intelligence, and their impact on efficiency in the workplace and on teams.
