The Raid EDHEC trail run took place on 2-6 June 2021. Juliette Barberon reviews this 28th edition for us.

“This year’s edition of the EDHEC trail run followed on from the previous years, but with enhanced hygiene measures due to the prevailing circumstances”, notes Juliette Barberon, general secretary and communication manager.

The 28th edition of the EDHEC trail run hosted 20 participants (versus the usual 120), but the smaller number allowed for a much more flexible organisation and closer relations with participants. “The mood was consequently warmer and more convivial,” explains Juliette. The association succeeded in adapting to the unprecedented circumstances to offer participants “a memorable edition” which Juliette summarises in three words: conviviality, perseverance and pleasure.

Focus on the Raid EDHEC trail run

The Raid EDHEC trail run seeks to promote the Nice hinterland and the villages the race passes through. The event also provides a means of promoting the School. In addition, the association aims to raise awareness of environmental issues. This objective is reflected, for example, in the award of an ecological trophy on the EDHEC trail run, consumption of local and unsold food products, and the promotion of car-sharing.
