Bio

Thibaut Joltreau holds a PhD in political science (2023) from Sciences Po Bordeaux, France. Prior to joining EDHEC, he was a postdoctoral researcher on the Horizon Europe project TWIN SEEDS, investigating how circular economy policies are reshaping global value chains and business models. Originally rooted in policy analysis, his research engages in an interdisciplinary dialogue with the fields of international political economy, international business, and economic geography. Empirically, he explores the relationship between industrial policies, business models, and the evolving geography of production. His recent work has been published in Regulation & Governance (2025) and the Journal of Environmental Policy & Planning (2024); and won the best paper award of the ‘Global Value Chain track’ at EIBA 2024. At EDHEC, Thibaut will be teaching Geopolitics with a focus on contemporary international business issues.
