AI in Oncology by 2030 Strategy Lab
Designing resilient cancer care systems
About the Workshop: Shaping the Future of AI in Oncology Together
On 5 October 2026, the Management in Innovative Health Chair at EDHEC Business School, in partnership with Unicancer and the French League Against Cancer (La Ligue contre le cancer), and with the support of Ethik-IA and IRCAD France, will bring together leading healthcare innovation stakeholders for the Strategy Lab AI in Oncology Towards 2030: Building Resilient Cancer Care Systems, to be held at EDHEC’s Paris campus.
As European regulatory frameworks continue to evolve rapidly, integrating artificial intelligence into cancer care pathways requires identifying the most relevant use cases, anticipating organisational change and defining realistic routes to implementation. Meeting this challenge calls for clinical, scientific, industry, regulatory and organisational expertise to be brought together to shape a shared vision for the future of AI in oncology.
Through collaborative workshops led by international experts and conducted in both French and English, participants will draw on strategic foresight methods to address a central question: What conditions must be in place by 2030 to move from isolated pilot projects to the safe, routine and scalable use of artificial intelligence in cancer care across Europe?
The recommendations resulting from this collaborative work will inform a white paper presenting the key findings and strategic priorities identified during the event.
