Ariane Ollier-Malaterre, Ph.D., is a Full Professor at EDHEC Business School and a former Canada Research Chair on Digital Regulation at Work and in Life. Prior to EDHEC, she taught at Sciences Po Paris, Boston College, NEOMA Business School, McGill University and the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM).
Her research examines how digital technologies transform work, life, and the boundaries between work and life across different cultural and socio-political contexts. With her team of colleagues and PhD students over 4 continents, she has co-authored over 85 chapters and articles in management, sociology, psychology, and information systems journals and has received numerous best paper awards and grants.
With 12 years’ work experience as a management consultant with Accenture, a start-up co-founder and a project leader, she bridges academia and practice. Her work is regularly featured in the international media such as the BBC, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times and Business Insider, and she has co-authored pieces for Harvard Business Review, Stanford Social Innovation Review, The Conversation, Le Devoir and The Globe and Mail.
