EDHECinfra – BCG : “Building the Green Hydrogen Economy”

Infrastructure investments, which are proving resilient in the face of inflationary pressures and fluctuations in demand, are attracting more and more players: with a growth rate of 21% since 2015 (twice the average for alternative assets), they have reached USD 1.1 trillion by 2022. In a context where governments and public authorities in many countries around the world are seeing their financial resources severely constrained, on the one hand, and are adhering to the need to invest massively in infrastructure, particularly "green" infrastructure, on the other, this asset class and the associated ecosystem are becoming a key issue.

As part of their research partnership, EDHECinfra and BCG have mobilised twelve researchers and experts - Wilhelm Schmundt, Bernhard Georgii, Esben Hegnsholt, Mogens Holm, Sam Gardner, Frank Klose, Abhishek Gupta, Frédéric Blanc-Brude, Leonard Lum, Alex Wright, Sanjaya Mohottala and Daniel Selikowitz - to analyse the risks and rewards associated with infrastructure investments in 2022, and to shed light on the new opportunities for investment in the hydrogen industry.
