A PIONEERING PROGRAMME IN GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE FINANCE
Crédit Agricole Nord de France, Amundi and Crédit Agricole CIB, partners of the MSc in Climate Change & Sustainable Finance, a programme developed in collaboration with Ecole des Mines ParisTech.
Hosted by the EDHEC Foundation, Crédit Agricole Nord de France, Amundi and Crédit Agricole CIB have joined forces in a three-way partnership to invest in a pioneering and ambitious programme aimed at training future finance professionals in the goals of sustainable finance and in integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into future decision-making.
Through the partnership, in line with its ethos of “acting every day in the interests of its customers and society”, Crédit Agricole Group will help to forge expertise that can adapt to the challenges of sustainable finance and develop students' knowledge of the scientific and technical challenges associated with the transition to a low-carbon economy.
The MSc in Climate Change & Sustainable Finance, launched at the start of the 2021 academic year, is characterised by a multidisciplinary teaching approach that combines an excellent education in finance, taught by EDHEC’s research faculty, with a scientific and technical approach to the ecological transition, led by experts from Ecole de Mines ParisTech.
Thanks to this cross-curricular teaching, the next generation of decision-makers will be able to decipher the environmental issues underlying the financial professions and encourage a profound transformation of practice.
This partnership is also part of the group's long-standing commitment to youth training and employment.
