EDHEC Business School is an official partner of TEDxAix, a one-day conference on 9 May focusing on technology, entertainment and design, and with the prime objective of using a variety of initiatives to support and promote ideas capable of changing the world.

By partnering in this unique event, EDHEC Business School asserts its goal of being recognised for innovative ideas and for the impact of its research and training on business.
An international cast of talented speakers, including Vineet Nayar, Peter Alfandary, Nathalie Loiseau, Sandrine Joseph, Sylvain Kern and Christophe Pradère, are all set to contribute to what promises to be an exciting day at the Conservatoire Darius-Milhaud in Aix-en-Provence.

“EDHEC Business School has made innovation and agility its hallmark. As a trailblazer in multi-campus strategies in France and abroad, in all-in-English programmes and for concentrating on our practical impact on companies through our ‘EDHEC for Business’ approach, we are now one of the leading management research and training institutions”, said Olivier Oger, Dean of EDHEC Business School.

Technology, Entertainment and Design or TED is a planetary phenomenon with over 1,500 conferences and 1.5 billion web hits. These three universes represent our future and like all TEDx events, TEDxAix will create an exclusive space designed to spark conversation, connections and the exchange of ideas. Events are held under a free licence granted by TED and are broadcast via Ted.com.

TEDxAix was conceived as a temporary laboratory to explore the concept of disruption. During this unique event, outstanding thinkers and participants from distinctive backgrounds will gather to share their ideas and avant-garde practices with personalities from the economic, scientific, artistic and academic worlds.
The day was designed to act as a catalyst for ideas focused on re-thinking established practices and incorporating them from an individual, organisational and civil society perspective, while offering a space for discussions and exchanging ideas that is outward-looking and open to all.
