This fourth episode of the EDHEC Vox Podcast focuses on VIE international internships and graduate programmes offered by companies to students, so as to help them gain a foothold in the job market and accelerate the start of their careers.

The podcast is hosted by Valentin Dierickx, a student on the EDHEC MSc in Marketing Management currently being recruited for a VIE international internship.

In this 30-minute episode, Valentin converses on the subject of graduate programmes and VIE international internships with Brenda Mendoza Martinez, Head of Talent and Graduate Career Management Programmes at Carrefour and Manuelle Malot, Director of Alumni Careers and the NewGen Centre at EDHEC.

They discuss the issues and workings of the two schemes, both of which respond to the expectations of today’s young generations, each in their own way.

- In what way do VIE international internships and graduate programmes act as fine career accelerators?

- With the current health situation disrupting the business world and career plans, how should a first job continue to be viewed as a springboard?

We hope you enjoy this new podcast and look forward to seeing you again for the next episode focusing on the engagement of young employees.
