Berkeley’s elite, one-year Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) Program prepares students for a broad range of careers, from derivatives trading to data science, quantitative research and risk management. EDHEC students will have to apply to the MFE Program during their professional immersion year and, if admitted, will spend the second year of their Master’s degree at Haas. As part of the double degree programme, they will complete a 12-week MFE internship, which will be recognised by EDHEC.

A strategic partnership

“Located next door to San Francisco, the financial capital of the West Coast, and Silicon Valley, the home of entrepreneurs, there is no better place than Berkeley Haas if our students want to pursue a career in Californian financial services, venture capital or analysis,” said Richard Perrin, Associate Dean for International Relations at EDHEC.

EDHEC’s strategic partnership with Berkeley Haas started in 2017 with the launch of EDHEC’s tri-continental Master in Management, Global Economic Transformation & Technology. The first cohort will graduate at Berkeley in May 2020. This agreement will also enable professors from the Berkeley Master of Financial Engineering Program and EDHEC to collaborate in future.
