EDHEC student clubs are an opportunity to combine passion with the MBA curriculum, to share ideas and practices among like-minded MBAs, and to open the network and share with alumni, companies and professional associations. EDHEC's Global MBA students are taking the initiative this year in clubs devoted to Entrepreneurship, Consulting, Finance, Project Management, Data Analytics/Technology and Professional Women's Network. They are student-run, and provide a chance to learn outside of the classroom, network and benefit from peer to peer support and sharing in addition to providing a structure which enables great conversations and networking with alumni, companies, the local community and the school.  Recently Amazon, one of EDHEC's Corporate partners, reached out to Club presidents directly to see how they could also get involved.

Sandra Richez, MBA Program Director, is a firm believer in the power of MBA Clubs, " I am a huge fan and supporter, putting them in contact with my network and helping involve them in campus and local events. What a great way to show leadership, take initiative and share their passion for these business areas. The Clubs really add energy and a professional dimension to student life at EDHEC."

Julio Gomez and Nisrine Ghemrawi lead the student-run Entrepreneurship Club at EDHEC's Global MBA. This week, the club skyped with MBA Alumnus Tim Roberts, CEO and Founder of TipTags in California, who is working with the club to trial his new app. Tim shared insight on creating his company in California and on using his MBA skills to become an entrpreneur after a successful career in consulting and business development. MBA students will spend the next few weeks trying out Tim's app and sending back valuable feedback. The club also recently enjoyed a panel discussion with local entrepreneurs to discuss the French Tech ecosystem in the Nice Cote d'Azur region.

The Data Analytics and Technology Club is led by Sneha Sharma, Julien Aimonino and Lucia Osoro. They are already partnering on a major alumni event, Dive into Digital on October 14th. The conference will focus on digital disruption, security and transformation featuring keynotes from IBM's Greger Ottosson, EDHEC's Loick Menvielle and Alumnus Jim Bourie, CEO of Nisos. It is a bi-annual MBA & Alumni Refresher event run by EDHEC's  Alumni Association.

Ronald Miranda partners with Project Management Institute (PMI) to lead the Project Management Club, they are already planning a main event in April about Blockchain with the help of IBM experts in the domain. The event will be a great way for EDHEC MBAs to get into the conversation with local Project Managers and professionals from the region's impressive tech-focused ecosystem where project management is a vital skill. Over the year the Project Management Club offers several workshops to share skills on risk management, project planning, presenting projects and many other great topics.

EDHEC's MBA Consulting Club allows students to practice on Case Study Interviews in peer-led mock sessions organised throughout the year. Nanda Kumar Ganesh, who leads the club, will be moderating an upcoming panel on consulting careers with EDHEC Alumni working in the US, UK, and France. He is interested in reaching out to alumni and companies to help current students network and better prepare for challenging consulting selection processes.

Professional Women's Network (PWN) partners with MBA student Nisrine Ghemrawi, who is leading the way for MBA women to be involved. Nisrine's role is to engage MBA women  to benefit from what PWN has to offer and to create new initiatives specific to MBA women. PWN is part of a global community in 20+ cities around Europe and offers access to EDHEC's MBA women for on-campus events, a robust mentoring program, a professional webinars series, and a broad local and European network of management and executive level women supporting women.

The Finance Club's new President, Shreyance Modi, liaises directly with EDHEC's renowned Masters of Finance, ranked n°1 worldwide by the Financial Times. While the MBAs bring experience to the table, they benefit greatly from the fine-tuned financial skills and services offered by their peers in EDHEC's world-leading financial economics masters. Shreyance's role will be to help the MBA students benefit from campus finance events, share club initiatives and explore opportunities for MBA initiatives.
