EDHEC Business School has been a university partner of the CFA Institute since 2006 after the launch of the EDHEC MSc in Finance.

We are very pleased to include our flagship MIM FE program under our agreement with the CFA. It underscores our commitment to offer unparalleled preparation for careers in finance in such areas as investments, asset management, trading, corporate finance, banking or risk management, as well as the School’s unique focus on the development of a culture of best practices in the financial industry.

said Pascale Viala, Director of Financial Economics Studies, Master and MSc.

The MIM FE is a unique two-year program in finance designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required for an international career in finance. In the first year, students learn the fundamental of finance and are prepared for the international job market. In their final year of studies, when returning from a gap-year of internships in finance, they gain additional expertise and competencies by joining one of four advanced and specialized Masters of Science:

Beyond well covering the body of knowledge that is integral to the CFA program, the MIM FE also includes a strong emphasis on financial regulation, ethics and standards of professional conduct.

The partnership allows MIM FE students to benefit from resources such as the CFA Institute curriculums, the Financial NewsBrief, and the complimentary sample CFA Level I exam, as for students enrolled in the MSc in Finance. Students will also have the opportunity to attend conferences and other events organized by the CFA Institute.

Students in these programs study the Candidate Body of Knowledge, which includes the core knowledge, skills, and abilities identified by practitioners worldwide as essential for successful practice,” said Neil Govier, CFA, Head of Education, APAC at CFA Institute. “By mastering the fundamentals of the CFA Program as well as the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, these future investment professionals gain a strong foundation that helps prepare them well to join the growing CFA Institute community dedicated to promoting the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence for the ultimate benefit of society.
