EDHEC Executive Education's open and customised programmes for managers and leaders have once again been recognised for their excellence by the prestigious Financial Times

Once again, EDHEC Executive Education programmes have been recognised in the Financial Times ranking for their excellence and usefulness for business, gaining seven places since the Financial Times’ 2020 executive education edition to arrive in the top 10 in combined open and custom global rankings.

The open and custom rankings include:

  • The Customised Programmes ranking (courses tailored to individual organisations): 6th worldwide overall (+2 places since 2020)
  • The Open-enrolment ranking (inter-organisation courses for leaders and managers): 15th worldwide (+24 places since 2020)

In both categories, EDHEC earned high scores for “client support and follow-up,” as well as for providing them with cutting-edge “new skills and learning.”

"This ranking acknowledges the remarkable dedication of our faculty, coaches and staff in supporting our clients in their transformations. For us, it validates our approach and, for companies, it is a guarantee for a programme of excellence,"  says Stéphane Canonne, Director of EDHEC Executive Education.

Tailor-made programmes - designed to meet very specific business challenges

“The agile structure of the customised programmes gives them not only the flexibility to follow the evolution of corporate strategy, but also allows for concrete contribution towards how a client  adapts to future challenges. In a time of VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity), senior executives’ leadership development and their ability to empower their teams are fundamental," explains Anne Fessan, Director of Customised Programmes.

"We really liked the idea of creating a unique programme with EDHEC. We were able to express our needs, discuss the objectives and outcomes we expected from the programme and thus shape a training that combines theory and workshops with concrete, experiential learning activities," confirms Line Cadel, HR Director at OVH Cloud.

"No. 6 worldwide, we owe this very encouraging result to our clients: 1) because of their contribution to this ranking and 2) because they entrust us with a field of experimentation that allows us to validate the relevance of our approach and to constantly put it to the test of business. This ranking is the result of a close collaboration between our clients, our participants, our speakers and teachers and the "Custom" team. We are proud to see the concrete impact of our combined efforts. This reward motivates us to continuously improve our programmes and progress even further."  says Anne Fessan.

Open programmes - developing the talents that will transform businesses

EDHEC Executive Education's Open Programmes are short programmes focusing on today's major business challenges (e.g. leadership, team management, financial strategy) and societal issues, such as CSR or digital transformation, but also courses lasting several months for in-depth personal and professional transformation.

"As close as possible to the reality of participants and companies, we offer experiential learning by combining reflection, hindsight, inspiration, learning by doing and experiences. We are convinced that business can have a positive impact on the economy and on society as a whole. We design our programmes and our business with this conviction. This is why every year, companies entrust us with the development of their talents," explains Stéphane Canonne, Director of EDHEC Executive Education.
