HOW TO PREPARE FOR GRE?
#1. Practise regularly. Dedicate enough time every week to practice the questions, they always have a certain pattern to them. The more you solve questions, the more you get used to it, the faster you can answer them. You can also get help from a training centre. I attended weekend classes for 2.5 months.
#2. Focus on time and not matter. Even if you haven't finished all the questions you planned for practice, make sure you time yourself while answering the questions you are capable of doing.
#3. Search for Internet resources. There are a lot of videos and websites that can help train you better. A good example of the verbal part would be Membean.
#4. Play smart. If you don't know the right answer, eliminate the wrong and obvious answers. Some questions have answers that are the results of simple calculations of the numbers in the question. This is basic psychology being used to mislead you. If you still don't get it, skip the question and come back to it later, do not waste your time.
#5. Relax. The day of the exam and the previous day should be dedicated to you relaxing and doing as little studying as possible. I always revise, so if you're like me, keep the revision to a minimum.
#6. Time management. If you are not happy with your result and you are confident that you could have managed your time better because that's the most crucial part of the exam, do not hesitate to do it again, but make sure you do it soon while the knowledge is still fresh in your head. I did and it proved to be efficient.
