At EDHEC, the QTEM programme is open to students enrolled in the Master in Management – Finance track.
Insights from Michelle Sisto, QTEM Dean at EDHEC
Michelle Sisto, QTEM Dean at EDHEC, shares why the programme offers more than just international study—it equips students with the skills and mindset to lead in a data-driven, sustainability-focused world.
"The QTEM Masters goes beyond simple exchanges," she explains. "It allows students to earn a QTEM Masters certificate alongside their EDHEC degree. Through the Global Business Analytics Challenge, they gain real-world experience, learning to make data-driven decisions and collaborate across cultures and time zones."
Students also benefit from advanced quantitative courses at QTEM partner universities and complete online modules in data science and storytelling. "A mandatory quantitative internship allows them to apply these skills in a professional context," she adds. "It’s a vital bridge between academic theory and business practice."
With QTEM partners spanning five continents, students are immersed in diverse academic and cultural settings. "That global experience transforms their worldview. They return more open-minded, confident, and globally aware—qualities that employers deeply value."
As the finance world evolves, QTEM stays ahead:
"All fields are embracing data-driven decision-making, and sustainability is no longer optional," says Michelle Sisto. "QTEM develops data-literate leaders with a vision for sustainable progress—exactly the kind of professionals today's world demands."
From Melbourne to Meaningful Impact
For Garance Blechet, a Master in Management – Finance student pursuing a double degree in Climate Change & Sustainable Finance, QTEM offered transformative global exposure.
"I chose Melbourne for my exchange—one of the best decisions I’ve ever made,” she said. “I discovered a fascinating country, built lasting friendships and learned to adapt to new academic perspectives.”
She recalls the QTEM Data Challenge, organised with Cartier, as a highlight. "It sharpened my analytical thinking and cross-cultural collaboration skills."
More than academic growth, QTEM also clarified her purpose: "It inspired me to align my career with my values and pursue sustainable finance—where impact meets expertise."
“QTEM is more than an academic programme,” she concludes. “It’s a global network of ambitious, like-minded people who push you to grow — academically, professionally and personally. It’s an experience that stays with you long after graduation.”
