Always give your best
What does your job involve?
I am now a Project Commercial and Contract Manager in Bombardier Transportation France, and there are two main aspects in my job: first, I deal with all the customer-related contractual affairs in different projects, I help project directors define commercial strategies in order to ensure a strong and healthy interaction with the customer. Second, I also help manage the contracts with different suppliers as well as provide strategies in the case of disputes.
How were you recruited? How has your EDHEC education helped you in your career?
Thanks to EDHEC and in particular the platform provided by the LL.M. in Tax & Law Management programme, I was quite lucky to meet my department chief during a seminar in which he presented an inspiring introduction to the career of contract management. During the seminar, we had a pleasant and constructive exchange and afterward, he provided me an internship opportunity at Bombardier and I stayed there ever since.
What is your best memory of EDHEC?
I think it should be the graduation ceremony that my professors offered me an opportunity to be the representative of our promotion and give a speech. That was a wonderful moment to be able to express the acknowledgment to professors and cheers on the success of my colleagues.
Any advice for students?
I would like to advise them to never give up trying our best. EDHEC is a colourful stage for all of us to discover our passion and talents, and we should learn how to transform them into our professional competency.
