L’étincelle: EDHEC co-builds an entrepreneurship training programme with Génération Do It Yourself
EDHEC Business School and Génération Do It Yourself, the podcast hosted by Matthieu Stefani, have set up L’étincelle (literally “Spark”), a unique online training programme (in French) for budding entrepreneurs. The training is open both to those already working on their own projects and those simply aiming to create a start-up. Following successful completion of the programme, participants will receive official certification from EDHEC Business School.
Thanks to a mix of entrepreneurs, EDHEC professors, and experts, L’étincelle will combine practical learning with EDHEC’s academic expertise and network of incubators. Contributors to the programme will notably include Antonin Chartier, founder of Jimmy Fairly, Justine Hutteau, co-founder of Respire, Michael Benabou, co-founder of Veepee, Céline Lazorthes, founder of Leetchi, Quentin Genissel, Director the MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at EDHEC, Olga Kokshagina, Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at EDHEC, and Robin Roublique, Lead Program Manager at EDHEC Entrepreneurs. Participants joining the programme can be assured of starting their entrepreneurship journeys under the best conditions, with guidance from actors at the forefront of the sector.
During the six weeks of training, the future entrepreneurs will acquire in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of company creation, and thus get to grips with the tools and methods used to build, test and validate entrepreneurial ideas on the market. As Matthieu Stefani, creator of the Génération Do It Yourself [GDIY] podcast, explains: “Through L’étincelle, EDHEC and GDIY will provide future entrepreneurs with a structure they can use to build their projects, as well as tried and tested operating procedures, such as the incubation of start-ups on the EDHEC Entrepreneurs platform, or via experience-sharing with podcast guests.”
Focused on a practical approach, L’étincelle is built around asynchronous masterclasses, digital resources enabling participants to dive deeper into each subject, and EDHEC pedagogical activities and corporate case studies. Participants will also have the chance to join the EDHEC community, where they can exchange with close to 500 entrepreneurs, the EDHEC Entrepreneurs team and service providers, while also benefiting from a broad pack of digital tools, including the web hosts HubSpot and Notion.
