At the end of September, the new cohort of PhD participants has joined the EDHEC PhD in Finance programme for the first part of core courses delivered by Professors Abraham Lioui and Ibolya Schindele on the London campus. Dr Michelle Sisto, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies, Prof. Abraham Lioui, Programme Director  and Professor Raman Uppal, Programme Academic Director, have introduced the school and the doctoral programme to the students.

Hailing from 7 countries: China, Colombia, France, India, Ireland, United Kingdom and United States, six students are based in the Americas (US and Colombia), five in Asia (India, Hong Kong, Singapore) and one in Australasia.

The proportion of senior professionals of the financial industry in this entering class is still high and participants hold one or two graduates degrees: MBA with major in finance or economics or Masters of Science in financial engineering, financial markets, mathematics, statistics from reputed institutions such as Berkeley, Harvard, LSE, M.I.T., NYU, Oxford...

The second week of core courses will take place on the Nice campus in January 2018.
