EDHEC Business School has further strengthened its position as the top-ranked school in France for the study of finance. According to the latest report by eFinancialCareers, it is the “number 1” school in the country for getting a job in investment banking.  Led by the School’s MSc in Financial Markets and MSc in Finance programmes, EDHEC outperforms other French educational institutions in securing “front office” investment banking jobs for its graduates.

The eFinancialCareers ranking follows the recent Financial Times Masters in Finance ranking, where the School placed number 1 worldwide, cementing EDHEC as the premier business school in France to study finance. Both rankings are the result of a successful strategy to produce research that is of true practical use for businesses. EDHEC leverages its close ties with the financial industry to ensure that its winning strategy has an exceptional impact on the training and placement of its students throughout the world.

Global job prospects for finance graduates at EDHEC Business School are high. The career impact for students completing the MSc in Financial Markets programme boasts a rate of 96% of its graduates employed within an international context.  This career statistic increases one percentage point, to 97%, for graduates of the MSc in Finance programme.

Michelle Sisto, Associate Dean for Graduate Studies, at EDHEC Business School attributes the high rate of graduate employability to the quality of the business-relevant education offered at EDHEC. She says, “Our programmes are designed for ambitious students who seek top-level positions within leading, global financial institutions.”  The aforementioned eFinancialCareers report supports Professor Sisto’s statement because they have chosen to allocate a greater weighting to graduates gaining a position in a tier one investment bank.

International publications are taking notice of EDHEC’s expertise in educating finance majors and Emmanuel Métais, Dean of EDHEC Business School, is proud of the attention given to the School’s academic programmes. He believes, “This international recognition provides EDHEC Business School with the ideal platform to continue with our international strategy combining academic excellence and unique research, and geared to training agile and outward-looking future leaders ready to invent new models.”
