#MyEDHECcommunity - Sharing advice on study choice
“In this particular time, with students staying home 24/7 and no fairs or open days to attend, we should all elevate each other. It’s natural for me to help students find the right path for them. There are so many choices nowadays! If every grad can do so to help, it can create real value. It is important to show students facing questions about study choice that there are fellow students out there, willing to offer advice. We have all experienced this doubt before. In The Netherlands where I’m from, I especially get questions about my choice of doing my master outside of my native country. So I started spreading the word about the greatness of EDHEC’s ranking and its tailored MSc programmes. I discovered France’s educational system during an exchange in Paris and found it fitted my bill. I opted for the MSc in Entrepreneurship & Innovation to maintain a family tradition turned towards entrepreneurship and innovation. I wanted to gain the knowledge to later be able to launch a company from scratch or innovate within a big one. The knowledge and experiences I have acquired along the way within this programme and great professors and instructors has opened my eyes on the current and biggest trends, the obstacles to look out for and the importance of having a great team to work with. To conclude, I would tell students out there: focus on what you really love to do and stick to your unique self. In the end, it is what will make the most impact not only to yourself but to the rest of the world that matters. And don’t hesitate to ask for help and guidance!”
