Bio
Rania serves on international boards and committees in relation with family businesses and is Family Business Fellow at Cornell University and The Family Firm Institute.
As a global speaker, she held presentations and lectures related to her areas of expertise for various academic, professional, and business institutions in more than 50 countries across continents. Her insights have been featured in over 200 publications in the main academic journals dedicated to family businesses as well as in international practice-oriented and media outlets, including Campden FB, El País, Financial Times, Forbes, La Tercera, Le Figaro, Les Echos, Le Monde, Radio France, Tharawat, and The Conversation.
Among her past appointments, she was member of the International Next Generation Committee and academic expert of The Family Business Network International (FBN-i), the largest membership network of family businesses, member of the Board of Directors of The International Family Enterprise Research Academy (IFERA) for two consecutive mandates, director of the Financial and Wealth Management Master Program at the University of Bordeaux and director of the Family Business Global Executive MBA at EDHEC Business School.
Along with a master’s in business administration from the Holy Spirit University (Lebanon), a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the University of Bordeaux (France), Rania holds the Advanced Certificates in Family Business Advising and Family Wealth Advising from FFI (U.S.A) and the Certificate of Women Leadership Development from the University of Oxford (UK).
Rania has received several international awards in recognition of her work in the family business field including the prestigious Barbara Hollander Award in 2020.
