Cybercrime, fraud, money laundering, terrorist attacks, piracy, kidnapping, counterfeiting, corruption…: businesses are a constant target not only of organised crime, cybercriminal groups and terrorist organisations, but also of corrupt public officials, hostile states, unfair competitors and fraudulent employees. Far from being rare occurrences, criminal risks are an integral part of the challenges facing international management.

Since its creation in 2005, the Criminal Risks Management Chair at EDHEC, under the direction of Bertrand Monnet, has aimed to effectively train the school’s students and executives from partner companies to identify and manage criminal risks within their organisations, and to raise awareness among the widest possible section of the general public about the reality of these risks.
