The Finance Career Fair that took place on-campus was an example of one of the many ways the EDHEC team helps provide students with career opportunities. It is a day-long event carefully designed to bring together recruiters and candidates in the finance arena.
27 global companies such as JP Morgan, Ernst & Young, PwC, Orange, and Nomura set up tables in the main atrium of EDHEC’s Nice campus to promote their firms and make connections with potential recruits. The fair is a unique opportunity for our students to meet and discuss internship and job opportunities with companies. Our students were also able to meet alumni working in those companies and start to build their network. Knowing that every networking possibility should be seized, the feedback from our students was overwhelmingly positive.

A roundtable about diversity in the workplace closed the fair. The roundtable discussion brought together HR professionals sharing their best practices on the management of diversity in global companies. The conference was followed by a networking cocktail on our terrace embracing the Mediterranean Sea.
Here is what Daniel De Falco, 2012 MSc in Finance Student of Brazil has to say about the event "unarguably the Finance Fair held by EDHEC was a unique experience for me as a student to get to know the recruiters, the career paths that they set to potential candidates and to listen to EDHEC alumni or current students that work for these firms. More than knowing in more depth about the careers that I have been interested in past, it was really enlightening to understand alternative careers in finance from the recruiters. In short, I could learn about careers and recruiters in a proper atmosphere for networking.”
